Group IT Lead

We are seeking an English-speaking Group IT Lead based in Bucharest, Belgrade or Prague. You will play a key role in supporting and developing the group’s IT infrastructure across our locations, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently day to day.

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in maintaining and improving our core IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and helping to implement new technologies as the business grows. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, including General Managers and external partners, to make sure our technology is practical, reliable, and fit for purpose. We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background, a proactive approach, and a genuine interest in staying up to date with current technology trends. You will provide strategic thinking and strong business acumen and be well-versed in current technological trends.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring high availability and performance of systems, including SAP, Power BI, and CRM platforms.
  • Develop key strategic tools (Power BI, SAP Business One, D365, MS office) to streamline processes and develop useful insights/KPI’s.
  • Utilize Power BI to design and deliver insightful dashboards and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage, configure, and optimize the Dynamics 365 CRM system to support business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on IT budgets at the group and country level throughout the year.
  • Develop and implement a long-term IT strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
  • Develop KPI’s to monitor performance of the IT assets in the group.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Manage and develop small IT team.
  • Maintain and where required improve our infrastructure to secure and protect our assets from vulnerabilities – both external and internal.
  • Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place and comply with industry standards.
  • Lead IT projects, such as system upgrades, integrations, and process automations.
  • Collaborating with our marketing team for website development.
  • Occasional travel to other market offices in Hungary, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic.

Requirements

  • Dynamics 365 for sales/CRM
  • Power BI
  • Microsoft Office
  • SAP Business One – advantageous
  • English – (equivalent to B2 standard) as well as fluency in Serbian, Czech, or Romanian.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where they will be based. Tech-Con is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
