Technical Support Engineer – Controls
Tech-Con Romania is looking for graduates from the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest who are eager to launch their career in industrial automation and apply their technical knowledge in practice. Enrollment in a master’s degree program during the current academic year is not an obstacle – we provide a flexible work schedule to accommodate class attendance. Prior professional experience is not required, as new team members will receive dedicated mentoring and support.
Main tasks

Selecting automation equipment and systems according to customer technical specifications

Preparing, drafting, and tracking technical and commercial quotations

Providing technical support to customers and the sales team

Collaborating with suppliers and international technology partners

Using the SAP system for quotation management, order processing, and delivery documents

Working with PLCs (programmable logic controllers), HMIs (human-machine interfaces), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo motion control systems

Utilizing Bosch Rexroth electric drives and controls, the ctrlX AUTOMATION platform, selection tools, and technical resources for practical project applications
Requirements

Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline (recent graduates / class of 2026)

Genuine interest in control systems and industrial automation

Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and develop hands-on technical skills

Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

Familiarity or interest in working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is considered an asset

Prior professional work experience is not required (full mentoring and onboarding support provided)
