The primary responsibility of the Technical Sales Representative is to sell products and robotic solutions from TechCon’s market‑leading robotics manufacturers to system integrators and industrial end users. The role focuses heavily on identifying technical requirements related to robotic systems, uncovering customized robotic project opportunities, and driving their sales.
A key element of the position is a deep understanding of robotic technologies, recommending the appropriate robots, peripherals, and automation solutions, and managing the entire sales process from the first contact to contract signing.
Main tasks
Business Development – Robotics Focus
- Selling robotic products and robotic solutions in the industrial sector (end users, integrators) in line with strategic goals.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through robotics within end users’ production units.
- Conducting regular visits to robotic integrators, automation partners, and end‑user project teams.
- Developing partner relationships, building trust, and maintaining continuous professional communication.
- Understanding and applying the sales process of capital equipment (CAPEX).
Requirements
- Higher education degree (technical or business field preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B technical sales; experience in selling robotics or industrial automation products is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the robotics, automation, or industrial technology market is an advantage.
- Strong hunter mindset and success‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to identify and influence real decision‑makers.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
