Background of the Customer
Our customer’s main activity is the production, assembly and export of bicycles and bicycle parts, and it is also present on the Hungarian market as a distributor.
Our client has one of the largest bicycle manufacturing bases in Europe, they manufacture thousands of bicycles every year, which are sold not only in Hungary, but also in many European countries.
What was the requirement?
For our client, it was of paramount importance to establish a new production line that effectively supports the production and assembly of bicycles and their components. To do this, they needed to design and manufacture workstations and storage equipment next to the production line that would fit into the production processes, increase productivity and ensure an ergonomic working environment. The first production line was built on a pilot basis so that the further lines could be optimized based on experience.
Our offered Solution
We designed and manufactured a complete system that included workstations and storage equipment next to the production line. The first line was created as a pilot project, so it was possible to fine-tune and adapt it to the customer’s needs. Based on the optimized plans, the remaining five production lines were later produced in series, thus ensuring a fast and uniform installation. The solution was adapted to the factory’s logistics and production processes, supporting efficient material flow and smooth work.
What was the benefit for the customer?
The solution has enabled a significant expansion of production capacity and the increase of production efficiency. The ergonomic design of the workstations and storage equipment next to the production line has reduced the strain on workers, accelerated material handling and improved assembly quality. Through the experience gained during the pilot project, the entire system could be optimized, so the five additional production lines were implemented uniformly and at a high level. This not only increased the volume of production, but also contributed to strengthening the company’s competitiveness and market position.
