Damped Manual Fail-Safe
The D-Line damped manual fail-safe uses Kinetrol’s highly reliable, low stress, clock type spring linked to a torque multiplier to allow effortless manual operation of a valve. The integral energy dissipating rotary dashpot damper then ensures the safe, controlled return of the valve to its start position.
The D-Line damped lever operated manual fail-safe range is available from Model 07 up to Model 10 for a maximum allowable valve torque of between 42Nm (375lbf ins) and 143Nm (1270lbf ins).
Specially developed damped manual fail-safe lever-operated units designed to safely operate larger valves manually whilst ensuring certainty of position when unattended.
