We are seeking an experienced and reliable Finance Controller to oversee group-level financial operations across five countries in Central and Eastern Europe. Based in Budapest, this is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and consistent processes across multiple entities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group CFO, Country Finance Managers, and Local Accountants to deliver clear, accurate, and timely financial information to support management decisions. It combines flexibility with genuine responsibility and regional exposure.
Requirements
About You
Essential:
- Solid background in financial control, management accounting, or group reporting.
- Strong practical experience with Excel (advanced functions, data analysis, and reporting).
- Very good command of English (spoken and written) — able to communicate confidently across borders.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple entities simultaneously.
Desirable:
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business One.
- Experience in an international or multi-country business environment.
- Familiarity with automation or process-improvement initiatives.
- Additional Central or Eastern European language skills are an advantage.
