Our client is one of Hungary’s leading manufacturer of corrugated cardboard packaging materials. With its sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions, it supports not only high-quality packaging but also the circular economy.
Our client wanted to automate the material handling process at its box manufacturing plant. The goal was to be able to transport paper boxes of different sizes, from the strapping machine to the palletizing robot cell, without human intervention, while ensuring the possibility of walking around the production line.
We have developed a conveyor system that automatically conveys the boxes from the strapping machine to the robot cell. The system also features an openable track section that facilitates in-line transport and maintenance access.
With our solution, our client was able to automate material handling, thereby relieving the burden on operators, increasing the efficiency and safety of the production process, while production became continuous.
