Background of the Customer
Our client is a global electronics manufacturing service provider that is a global leader in product design, manufacturing, and supply chain management. The company operates at several sites in Hungary and uses innovative solutions in the production of electronic products. It’s goal is to increase efficiency, ensure quality and support sustainable manufacturing processes.
What was the requirement?
Our customer wanted to make the recycling process of IQOS charging boxes safer and more efficient. Their goal was to destroy aluminum housings to prevent the product from being resold while the resulting material could be reused or sold.
Our offered Solution
We designed and built an automated machine building profile system using pneumatic and hydraulic components, which allows for controlled and safe destruction of aluminum enclosures.

With our solution, our customer has made the recycling process more efficient, reduced the need for human intervention, and ensured that defective aluminum housings could not be returned to the market while their material could be recycled.
