The University of Debrecen is one of the largest and oldest higher education institutions in Hungary, with a history of more than 200 years. It offers a wide range of courses from humanities to engineering and natural sciences to medicine, with an international student community. With its outstanding research results and modern campus, it plays a significant role in Hungarian and international education.

The University of Debrecen – one of the largest and oldest higher education institutions in Hungary – wanted to incorporate robotics into the training of students during the modernization of the educational curriculum. The teaching of industrial robots was already underway, but there was also a need for collaborative robots that bring the latest industrial technologies closer to students.
We provided 4 robot stations for the university, which are complemented by a total of 8 conveyors. One of them is made with a strap and the others with a plastic chain solution. We provided grippers with a 2D camera system for the robots, so students can learn about complex technologies used in industrial environments.

With the installation of the new robotics stations, the university has significantly expanded its educational opportunities and created a modern training environment adapted to the needs of the labor market. This will help students gain hands-on experience with collaborative robots and thus enter the world of work with more competitive knowledge. The new system also provides an opportunity to arouse students’ interest in robotics, further strengthening the university’s reputation for innovation and research.
