For more than 80 years, our client has been working for a better indoor environment, bringing light and fresh air to homes and buildings all over the world. The parent company was founded in Denmark and is now present in 37 countries.
Our client’s goal was to automate the servicing of a dedicated machine for the production of roof window frames, which was previously carried out by a human operator. The process was repetitive and time-consuming, so they were looking for a more efficient and labor-saving solution.
A conveyor system with a linear actuator system (pneumatic lifters and grippers) was installed, which automatically sorts the parts. The robot then picks up and places seven pieces at a time on a pallet up to a height of 11 layers.
Thanks to the automated solution, our customer was able to save significant human resources, while making the production process faster, more accurate and more reliable.
