The company is a Hungarian radiator manufacturer with 35 years of experience in the industry, producing both bathroom and room radiators. Beyond meeting technical standards and providing efficient heating, the company positions its products as design elements in their own right — establishing itself as a design radiator manufacturer.
The company was looking for a way to increase precision and efficiency in its production processes while allowing robots and human workers to operate safely and cooperatively within the same workspace. They needed a partner who could quickly understand their manufacturing workflow and recommend the right solution.
In 2022, Tech-Con presented Universal Robots’ collaborative robots to the company. From the very first contact, the Tech-Con team understood the production processes and advised on exactly what was needed. As a result, three collaborative robot arms were implemented: one handles material feeding for two machines — effectively taking over the work previously done by two employees — while the other two work alongside laser welding machines to carry out welding tasks.
The cobots delivered precise and reliable results, and employees were able to learn how to operate them with ease. The scrap rate dropped significantly, and production capacity increased measurably. Implementation was fast and straightforward — the collaborative robots were up and running just a few days after unboxing. Programming was easy to follow, with full support provided by Tech-Con throughout, including motion optimization, resulting in an entirely positive experience for the company.
