It offers a broad portfolio of more than 5,000 healthcare products spanning infusion therapy, surgical instruments, dialysis, wound care and nutrition. The customer needed an end-of-line palletizing solution for 100 ml and 250 ml pharmaceutical glass bottles packed in cases, meeting strict pharma industry standards.
We implemented a palletizing station built around a UR30 cobot with a custom mechanical gripper and a Rocketfarm palletizing system, capable of reliably handling both bottle sizes in full compliance with pharma requirements.
The new system enabled continuous, uninterrupted production while freeing up employees from repetitive palletizing work, allowing them to be redirected to more valuable tasks. The solution also ensured consistent, standards-compliant handling of the pharmaceutical glass bottles throughout the packing process.
