Background of the Customer
Our client is a hungarian coffee brand that has been present in Hungarian households for more than 30 years, committed to the three pillars of quality, taste and availability. The company sources raw coffees from world-renowned regions, which he roasts and packages – ensuring that the company’s products are always fresh and rich in aroma. Their philosophy is that the coffee experience should not only be special in taste, but also affordable, domestic and reliable for their customers.
What was the requirement?
Our customer was looking for a solution for the transport of coffee beans that would ensure efficient and damage-free material handling. Originally, roasted coffee beans were manually fed into the machine, which was time-consuming and burdensome for operators.
Our offered Solution
The Piab vacuum conveyor proved to be the ideal choice for the task, as it provides space-saving, non-destructive material handling, and is characterized by minimal maintenance and costs. The system automatically delivers the roasted coffee beans to the machine, completely replacing manual filling.
What was the benefit for the customer?
With the introduction of the automated solution, they saved a significant amount of time, as the operator does not have to manually fill the coffee beans. This allowed the operator to perform other tasks while production became completely continuous.
